About AARDD
Our Mission
The American Academy of Robotic and Digital Dentistry (AARDD) exists to unite, educate, and support dental practitioners who are embracing robotic and digital technology. Our goal is to foster excellence in care through peer connection, cutting-edge training, and leadership development in robotic-assisted and digital dentistry.
Why AARDD Was Founded
Robotic and digital dentistry is transforming the way clinicians approach surgical precision, workflow efficiency, and patient outcomes. But until now, there was no centralized organization where professionals could collaborate, share experiences, and lead innovation together. AARD was founded to meet that need.

How Are we Different?
Too often a continuing education meeting is attended and when it's over, the application of the information given seems impossible. The nuts and bolts of what was described, the specific processes, materials, techniques, products used… it is an undescribed blur. There are several meetings that rightfully prohibit the exposure of manufacturers, products used etc. This Academy has taken a different approach. First, be clear that there is no financial gain to the Academy by describing the various products, materials, and techniques utilized in presentations. This is simply allowed so that the receiver of this information can have a better understanding for application of the information when they return to their practice on Monday.
The digital world is inundated with hundreds if not thousands of products and companies that offer various products that could be beneficial to the clinician. One of the benefits of attending our annual meeting is exposure to many of these products that might be represented at the meeting. The Academy by no means endorses any of these. The Academy does want to create exposure so that the field of digital and robotic dentistry can be advanced.
In Full disclosure, it should be noted that the inaugural annual meeting of the American Academy of Robotic and Digital Dentistry is being sponsored by Nobel and Neocis. When we were searching for a world class speaker for our Friday presentation, Nobel was kind enough to help us with providing Dr. Posey. Neocis is also a contributor to our meeting as they play a major role in the robotic and digital field.
